RULES:
Playing on our server is not a right, it is a privilege. If you break any of the following guidelines, you may be removed from our community without a warning. If you have been banned from the game server and you don't know why, you can view your ban on the forums. If you feel that you have been wrongfully banned, or you want another chance on the server, you can make an unban appeal in the unban appeals section of the forums.
Every rule as an acronym, which will be used by admins to refeer to each specific rule. These rules are as follows:
RDM: Do not kill another player without a reason that is defined by the rules or without permission from the other player.
NRR: Do not return to combat after death. After you die in combat, you must pretend that the combat never occurred. This does not apply during wars. Two minutes after a combat occurs, you may not reengage a person for previous reasons.
OOCR: Do not attempt to halt other players for gold, their horses they are currently riding, or the contents of their containers (carts, wheelbarrows, etc) unless you are an outlaw.
IHALT: When an outlaw robs another player, they must say halt and the player's name in local chat. They can then rob for only 20% of the player's pouch (accessable when pressing "p" and clicking "drop twenty percent"), or for enough items that the outlaw can carry. If the player being robbed refuses to pay, they must first say "no" in local chat before they can retaliate. Every group of outlaws must wait 5 minutes between each robbery.
ITAX: You can only tax people if they are trying to cross a specific geographical boundary on the map that is in your faction's land. You can only demand 500 gold per person, and dropping less than this to trick the taxers is against the rules. If you are confused where these boundaries are and who owns them, ask an admin. If someone refuses to pay a tax, they must first say "no" before they can retaliate.
IWAR: You can only declare a war when the majority of your faction is inside your own faction's castle, or is inside allied faction castles. Ninja-capping, or the practice of secretly capturing a castle, is not allowed during a war. You must declare that you are attacking a castle a minute before you do it. Wars have no time limits, and there needs to be no reason for a war to be declared. Wars only have to end when both factions agree for peace. You may kill other players at will if you are in an opposing faction in a war. If you are in a war-zone and you are not a member of a warring faction, you should leave immediately, as you may be killed by mistake. If a war participant is caught killing non-war participants in a battle on purpose, the war participant may be punished. If a non-war participant is attacked by mistake in a battle by war participants, the non-war participant must not retaliate.
