Hello there.
So here's my suggestion on how i think the hunger system should work. It's just a suggestion so please don't kill me.
I do agree food is and always had an important role on keeping an army alive and functional. I think it's a great idea to implement an hunger system this way factions must always make sure they are producing food. It also gives meaning having food in the mod.
Now I don't think that it should take you all the way down to 1HP. I think that's a bit too much. Let's take in consideration fresh starters and small populated factions. These will have an hard time surviving, and sometimes it can be hard getting proper ammounts of food for everyone.
I think it would be better if when that yellow bar runs out the player would gradually loose health to 1/4. This way he can still run around, looking for food without having to worry about getting crushed by a wild horse.

This is good but I also like how it forces people to form larger bands. I really hate how on persistent world there is always some group of mean rich players who just take over an entire faction as 5 knights and go around mass killing. This would make it so it is a must that groups include newer players to be serfs and really work the land they are given.

Sent a steam PM to Ram suggesting it puts you down to half health instead of 1hp, but I think everyone is having the same idea.
